Meanwhile, openly gay actor John Barrowman is saying of Jack that "the one thing that I'm exceptionally proud of, and that I know Russell [T. Davis] is, we've got a bisexual hero, or an omni-sexual hero, played by an openly gay man. 3) Following in the footsteps of the Dragon Age series, executive producer Casey Hudson confirmed over Twitter that the highly anticipated video game Mass Effect 3 will "support wider options for love interests incl. same-sex for m&f chars, reactive to how you interact w/them in-game." The announcement set of a flurry of online debating, but to quote Dragon Age writer David Gaiter, "the person who says that the only way to please them is to restrict options for others is, if you ask me, the one who deserves it least.".4) Filmmaker Anthony Alcalde is hoping make a documentary about a dance troupe getting prepared for Carnaval in Nicaragua, that will also serve as a look into that country's gay community and struggle for equality.
